Repair it or replace it? Find out before you call.
Not every chip needs a new windshield — and not every crack can be saved. Tell us what you're looking at and we'll give you the same answer we'd give you in the bay.
A chip this size usually takes resin just fine. We can fill it, and you keep your factory glass and factory seal.
A guide, not a diagnosis — we still look at the glass before we commit. Most comprehensive policies cover glass, and in a lot of cases a repair costs you nothing out of pocket. Bring us your policy info and we'll work the claim for you.
See it on your vehicle before you book it.
Pick your vehicle, paint and shade, then flip it to night or drag it against factory glass. This is how we actually do it: one matched shade all the way around. Builder flags anything outside Idaho's legal limits so there are no surprises.
Big heat cut without going darker. Our most-requested film.
Visual approximation — real glass, paint and lighting change how it reads. Idaho limits (Idaho Code 49-944, ±3%): 35% on front doors and back glass, 20% on rear doors, and no film below the windshield's AS-1 line without a medical exemption. Your factory glass already blocks some light, so a 35% film measures darker on the car. Live somewhere else? Tell us and we'll check your state first.

Starting prices for standard glass. Your exact price depends on the vehicle and film — we confirm it before any work starts. Home and business film is priced per square foot of glass, installed ($200 minimum).
Map your coverage. Know what you're paying for.
PPF is sold by how much of the car it covers, and "full front" means different things at different shops. Build yours here so we're both looking at the same thing.
The most common choice. Full panels mean no visible cut line across the middle of your hood, which is the thing people notice on a partial.
Coverage percentages are of the painted surface, side-view approximate. Real pricing depends on the panels, the vehicle, and how much of it is flat versus complex. PPF is clear and self-healing — it takes the rock chips so your paint doesn't.
Try the color before you commit to it.
Gloss, satin, matte, chrome or color-shift — the finish changes the car as much as the color does. Have a look, then tell us what caught your eye.
Every painted panel gets wrapped. Comes off years later and your factory paint is still under there, protected.
Screen colors aren't wrap colors — we'll put real vinyl samples on your vehicle in daylight before anything gets ordered. Chrome and color-shift films behave very differently in person than on a screen.
Same films. Different problem.
West-facing glass that cooks the room. A storefront nobody can see into after 3pm. Furniture and flooring fading out. Drag the slider and watch what film does to it.
Illustrative — actual performance depends on the film, your glass and which way the window faces. Note that daytime privacy film is a one-way effect: after dark, with the lights on inside, it reverses. Send photos and rough measurements and we'll get you a number.
We put our name on every job. That's not nothing.
-
Experienced techs, no gimmicksWe tell you what the job actually needs. If a chip can be repaired instead of replaced, we say so — even though replacement pays us more.
-
Lifetime warranty on tintOur window tint is warrantied for life against bubbling, peeling, lifting, cracking and adhesive failure. If it fails, we fix it.
-
Both numbers, every timeYou get TSER and IR rejection at your exact shade before you commit — not the one number that happens to sound biggest.
-
Matched, consistent resultsShade, panels and finish that look intentional — not like three visits to three different shops.
No mystery, no runaround.

Walkaround
We check it over with you, then tell you exactly how to care for it.
Photos going up as the bays fill.
We'd rather show our own work than stock photos of somebody else's. Ask to see examples when you request a quote.
The stuff people actually ask.
Don't see yours? Call or text (208) 602-9119 — we'd rather answer it than have you guess.
If the damage is small, away from the edge, and outside your line of sight, a repair is usually the right call — it is faster, cheaper, and keeps your factory glass and factory seal. Once a crack starts running, or it sits right in your view, replacement is the honest answer. Use the checker above and it will tell you which one you are probably dealing with.
Usually, yes. Glass claims typically fall under comprehensive coverage, and in a lot of states a repair costs you nothing out of pocket because carriers would rather pay for a chip than a whole windshield later. Bring us your policy info and we will work the claim so you are not the one on hold.
If your vehicle has lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise or automatic emergency braking, there is a camera mounted behind the windshield. Move that glass and the camera aim changes. Recalibration re-teaches it where the road is. Skipping it on a car that needs it means those safety systems can misjudge distance — so we check and tell you up front.
Three to five days. The adhesive needs time to cure, and rolling a window down early is the fastest way to peel a fresh edge. You will also see haze or small water pockets during that window — normal, and it clears on its own as the moisture evaporates.
In Idaho: 35% on the front doors and back glass, 20% on the rear doors, and nothing below the AS-1 line on the windshield (a strip across the top is fine). There is a medical exemption with a doctor's note. The thing that trips people up: your factory glass already blocks light, so a 35% film measures darker than 35% once it is on the car. Driving in another state? Tell us and we will check its limits before we start.
Not with what we install. Old metallic films could block signals — that is where the reputation comes from. Carbon and ceramic are non-metallic, so radio, GPS and key fobs are unaffected. Defroster lines are fine too, as long as whoever installs it knows how to work around them.
Yes. Film that has gone purple or started bubbling comes off, the adhesive gets cleaned off the glass completely, then we tint fresh. Removal is real labor — especially on back glass with defroster lines — so it is quoted separately. Mention it and we will include it.
PPF is clear and it is about protection — a thick, self-healing film that takes rock chips and scratches so your paint does not. A wrap is about looks: colored vinyl that changes what the vehicle is. Plenty of people do both, PPF on the front end and wrap over the rest.
Not on factory paint in good condition — that is the whole point, and it comes off years later without taking paint with it. The exception is resprayed or repaired panels: aftermarket paint that has not fully cured, or that was not prepped well, can lift. If your vehicle has had bodywork, tell us and we will test a small area first.
Depends on the film and how the vehicle lives. Garage-kept and hand-washed, a quality wrap holds up for years. Parked outside in full sun all day, expect less — UV is what kills vinyl. Horizontal panels like the hood and roof always go first.
Both. Same films, different problem — cutting glare on a west-facing living room, dropping the cooling bill on a storefront, adding privacy to an office, or replacing a broken pane or a foggy failed seal. Send photos and rough measurements and we will get you a number.
No, and any shop that tells you otherwise is selling you something. Reflective privacy film works by being brighter on one side than the other. During the day it is brighter outside, so people cannot see in. After dark with your lights on, that reverses — and so does the film. If you need night privacy, you need blinds or a frosted decorative film.
Tell us about the job — we'll take it from there.
Three quick steps. Real pricing and a real timeline back to you, usually within one business day.
